Excellent for Allergies!

Thursday, August 16th, 2012

My doctor explained how Vitamin A eliminated his allergies. This product is a fantastic solution to allergies in a dry supplement. I didn’t want oily or fishy, so this is perfect!

I used to suffer from terrible seasonal allergies, particularly to pollen, dust, grass, and trees. I’m also allergic to cats and dogs, and considering that I have four cats and love to be around dogs, I had no choice but to get rid of the allergies. Now I take Vitamin A instead of allergy meds. I’ve used Allegra, Claritin, Zyrtec, Zycam, and a number of homeopathic remedies from Hyland’s and Similisan, and this particular Vitamin A trumps all. I wouldn’t want to be without it. Solgar also makes a great dry one. If Thorne isn’t available, that’s what I buy.

It’s also fabulous for my skin. For a skincare supplement, it’s hard to beat Vitamin A.

FYI, the cats I’m referring to are indoor only. I don’t know if I’d still react badly to cats tracking in allergens from the outdoors, but working out in the yard among all the usual triggers doesn’t affect me anymore, so I’m guessing it would be ok. We would never let our cats loose outside, allergies or not.

Smell is Prohibitive to Use

Saturday, February 11th, 2012

I love Eucerin’s regular body lotion, but they really blew it with the smell of this product. It’s like rancid fish. Would not buy again. It didn’t hurt nor help my skin. Probably the most nauseating skin product I’ve ever smelled.

Manuka Honey and Propolis Soap

Saturday, August 6th, 2011

This is a wonderful company to deal with and their products come beautifully presented, but this soap stinks. Literally. We couldn’t use it because it smelled so awful. I know manuka has a strong odor, and that there was a strong likelihood this soap would smell rank, and it does. Proceed with a cautious nose or pass altogether.
